Where does the title 'The Land The River The Sea' come from?
"Growing up on a farm in Northern Ireland, I suppose I was always close to the land, never far from a river and permanently surrounded by sea! I worked in the landscape and it worked its way into me."
How is that reflected in the album?
Although it is largely land based the sea also makes several entries ! The ebb and flow soothes the soul. The album has an overall rhythm which comes from the pulse of the land, the flow of the rivers and the sea. I would describe it as a Ruralist record, I am a rock/acoustic/folk ruralist!"
"The Album and EP are on sale now. I've gathered together a bunch of wonderful musicians to play acoustic versions of the songs and we are out there playing them! I intend to concentrate very hard on playing live through the winter. And I have been and will be recording new songs over the next few months. Everything has stepped up another gear and is very exciting."
